Exclusive membership for recent UT Austin graduates

The Longhorn Foundation Young Alumni program provides recent University of Texas at Austin graduates (four years from most recent degree) the opportunity to become more closely involved with Texas Athletics and the teams you care about.

Longhorn Foundation Young Alumni Football Season Tickets

Eligible UT graduates may call 512-471-3333 to place a deposit for a 2020 Young Alumni season ticket.

You may also place a Texas Football season ticket deposit if you’d prefer to sit in a different area of the stadium.  Visit TexasSports.com/tickets and select "Option 2" to activate your account using the account number and PIN provided in the email sent to you from the Texas Athletics Ticket Office. If you need to retrieve your account number and PIN, please contact Ticket Sales and Services at 512-471-3333 or tickets@athletics.utexas.edu.

Not interested in season tickets? UT Austin graduates can make an Annual Fund gift of $50+ to join the Longhorn Foundation by calling 512-471-4439.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

  • UT Austin graduates are eligible to purchase Football season tickets in the Longhorn Foundation Young Alumni section for four years after completion of their most recent degree (bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral).
  • If selected for Young Alumni tickets, members begin the program with Year 1 status, regardless of graduation year.
  • Selected members are eligible to purchase up to two football season tickets.
  • • The football season ticket cost for Young Alumni members is $200 per season ticket plus a minimum annual fund gift to the Longhorn Foundation. The annual gift increases at a fixed rate of $50 each year. A schedule for the gift amount can be found in the chart below.
  • Young Alumni seating is located in sections 127-129 of Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium.
  • Each year, Texas Athletics allocates a percentage of Football ticket inventory to this program based on availability.
  • Program specifications are subject to yearly review.

General FAQs

What are the Longhorn Foundation Young Alumni football season tickets?
Longhorn Foundation Young Alumni football season tickets are a membership benefit that allows recent UT Austin graduates the opportunity to request discounted, renewable football season tickets.

How do I know if I qualify for this program?
If you have graduated from UT Austin with any degree within the past four years, you qualify to request football season tickets through the Young Alumni program.

Where will the tickets be located?
Young Alumni seating is located in the bleacher seats of Section 127-129 starting at Row 11.

How many tickets may I request?
Qualifying Young Alumni may request a maximum of two (2) tickets.

How much will I be charged if I qualify for this program?
The annual cost of the program is a combination of an Annual Fund gift to the Longhorn Foundation and a discounted season ticket payment. In the first year of the program, the Annual Fund gift is $50 with a discounted season ticket price of $200 per ticket for all Texas Football home games (plus a handling fee of $20). In each consecutive year in the program, there is a $50 increase to the Annual Fund gift. The season ticket price remains constant at $200 per ticket (plus handling fee).

Ticketing FAQs

How are tickets assigned?
Tickets are filled on a first come, first served basis in Section 127-129 for qualifying new Young Alumni season ticket holders. There are a limited number of tickets available for the Young Alumni sections.

May I request to sit beside a spouse, family member, friend, etc.?
Yes. You can request to be seated with someone else on the ticket application who is also a UT Austin graduate and qualifies for the Young Alumni program.

If I don’t qualify for tickets this season, will tickets still be available in the next athletics year?
Yes. Each year, Texas Athletics allocates tickets based on availability in the Longhorn Foundation Young Alumni program sections. If you are a future graduate or you do not qualify in the first year and still fall within the four-year window, you can continue to request tickets.

After receiving my initial season tickets, are tickets guaranteed for the next athletics year?
Yes. Should you decide to renew your season tickets after the first season, you may retain your location by purchasing your season tickets and making an annual gift. Seat locations are subject to availability.

After starting in the Young Alumni program, may I opt out before the end of my four years?
Yes. However, if you decide to opt out of the program you may not request tickets and begin the program for a second time. Students who pursue an additional degree from UT Austin may be eligible to apply again.

Purchase and Renewal FAQs

When is the deadline for submitting my ticket application as a new Young Alumni member?
Tickets are filled on a first come, first served basis. Ticket applications are available to graduating seniors in May. Call 512-471-3333 to find out if there are spots remaining in the Young Alumni sections.

May I move my seat location within the Young Alumni section?
Yes. Renewing Young Alumni members may move seat location within the Young Alumni section based on availability and Loyalty Points rank. If there is availability to move within Young Alumni section, you may do so during the seat relocation/upgrade and parking selection process. Each renewing season ticket holder will receive an online appointment time before each season with the opportunity to move locations.

If I want to move to a section outside of the Young Alumni program sections, may I do so?
Yes, if you move out of the Young Alumni program section, you are charged the standard season ticket price and must make the minimum annual gift.       

What happens after my fourth year in the Young Alumni program?
After your fourth consecutive year in the Young Alumni program, you will have the opportunity to purchase season tickets in any available section of Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium outside of the Young Alumni section. You will be able to move your seats during your Ticket and Parking Selection appointment by using the online seat upgrade tool. Appointment times for seat upgrades are assigned based on Loyalty Points rank.

Miscellaneous FAQs

If I qualify for the program and decide to return to The University of Texas at Austin to pursue another degree, can I qualify for this program again?
Yes. You may receive tickets through the Young Alumni program based on your most recent degree from UT Austin and participate in the program after multiple degree completions.

I am already a Longhorn Foundation member with renewable season tickets; however, I qualify for the Longhorn Foundation Young Alumni program. What are my options?
You may keep your existing seats and request tickets through the Longhorn Foundation Young Alumni program for a maximum of two (2) additional season tickets. Seats will be in designated Longhorn Foundation Young Alumni sections (127-129).

May I add tickets to my account after my first year in the program?
Yes, but you are limited to two tickets in the Young Alumni program. If you would like to add tickets, you may request seats outside of the Young Alumni program at standard ticket prices.

I am already a Longhorn Foundation member with renewable season tickets; however, I qualify for the Longhorn Foundation Young Alumni Program. What are my options?
You may keep your existing seats and request tickets through the Longhorn Foundation Young Alumni Program for a maximum of two additional season tickets. Seats will be in designated Longhorn Foundation Young Alumni sections (127-129).

You may release your existing seats and participate in the Young Alumni program and will be guaranteed seating in the Young Alumni section. However, your previous seats may not be available after your completion of the Young Alumni program.

Will I have access to parking on gameday?
Yes. Renewing members of the Young Alumni program are eligible to purchase Texas Football season parking permits in Loyalty Points order during your Ticket and Parking Selection appointment, subject to availability. Parking permits may be available to first-year applicants during time of purchase, subject to availability.

Are my tickets eligible for resale?
No, Young Alumni tickets are not eligible for resale per Texas Athletics Ticket Resale Policy.
